LEARN & CONNECT

District Training Assembly (DTA) is a learning opportunity designed to prepare members for the year ahead. Courses and content are often geared towards club leaders, but every member can benefit from attending to make connections and grow their Rotary IQ!

Thank you to the 150+ members who came out to make this event happen, both as leaders and as learners. We hope it was a valuable day for you and that you give us your feedback in the survey that was emailed to all attendees.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND DTA?

Everyone! There will be breakout sessions for secretaries and treasurers, as well as a Grants Management Seminar, but there are opportunities for every member to learn.

You do not need to have a leadership role in your club to come learn about the resources available in CNY Rotary, connect with Rotary service programs, and find out how you can get involved!

Between our tradeshow space and coffee lounge, there will be a lot of opportunity to connect with fellow members from across CNY Rotary, which is valuable to us all!

Planning Your Day

Please arrive on time so you can check in and get to the auditorium to start at 10am.

We will start and end the day with general sessions applicable for all members in the auditorium.

You are welcome to spend time in the trade show space, visiting booths and having conversations, at any time during the day. It is a free space to socialize and connect.

If you are attending the Grants Management Seminar, you will not be able to attend any of the other breakouts, as they are overlapping on the schedule.

Most breakout sessions are offered twice (with the exception of Secretary and Treasurer training), so if a room is full the first time, plan to attend the second session. It will be the same presentations for Advancing Leadership, the Action Plan and the Youth Program Update.

Every registered attendee will be entered to win a door prize. You must be present to win.

Dress Code: Rotary Casual

What to Bring: A notepad, a refillable water bottle, your curiosity!
(We will have some bottled water and coffee available throughout the day, but encourage you to go green and bring a refillable water bottle, as the facility has many refilling stations.)
