The CNY Rotary Environment Committee - Open Learning Community Weekly Gathering recently highlighted PEACE AID: The Day Music Created Peace on Earth.
 
Join PEACE AID, a day dedicated to harnessing the power of music to create peace on Earth. Come celebrate as we gather in a living expression of our shared humanity and experience a day of peace through music. During this global event, fans will be able to light the Digital Peace Torch  (a symbol of unity, hope, and peace) and pass it from person to person, community to community, and country to country. Through the universal language of music, we can unite people across communities, countries, languages, and cultures and celebrate peace on earth.
 
Interested in participating? PEACE AID welcomes musicians, performers, and music lovers of all genres to take part in this worldwide celebration of peace, allowing you to connect with people around the world through a day of music. You can participate by:
  • Dedicating your existing concert to peace
  • Creating a PEACE AID concert or musical event
  • Organizing a local PEACE AID gathering in your community
  • Sharing PEACE AID with your friends, family, and network
Together, we can use the power of music to inspire understanding, foster connection, and help build a more peaceful world.
