We will have an instructional video for anyone who wants a preview of what to expect and how to make all the selections that will come with registration this year.
What to expect with registration:
- There will be multiple options for attending all or part of conference weekend.
- When registering, you will have the choice to pre-purchase a conference t-shirt and order a printed program. These optional add-ons will only be available through early March to allow time for production and given to you when you check in at registration.
- You will also have the option of making a donation towards covering the cost of Youth Exchange Students at conference.
- When registering you will pick a "ticket," which determines your meal package for the weekend, then opt in to any add-ons or donations. Then you will complete information for each ticket you are purchasing to let us know your information and needs for the weekend.
We hope it will be a simplified process for all!
A reminder that there will be an opportunity to get entered to win a peace pole for your community if you register by the early deadline. These details will be provided in the email to all members when registration is open!
PLAN AHEAD
This year's conference will be combined with Learning Assembly - the annual, free training event for club leaders that is also open to all members. Learning Assembly will be held the morning of Friday, April 4th, starting bright an early. This could require some additional planning to make it work with your weekday schedule. We hope this advanced notice can help you do just that and be with us at both Learning Assembly and Conference 2025!
THANK YOU

BOOK CLUB CONNECTION
The CNY Rotary Book Club is partnering with us for another great learning experience through reading and discussion, plus a special field trip!
Read Haven, by Ruth Gruber, about the Holocaust refugees brought to Oswego during WWII, then plan to attend the discussion during a breakout session on Saturday afternoon of Conference, led by another author who is an expert on this piece of history, Ann Callaghan Allen. A second reading of Ann's book, Holocaust Refugees in Oswego, is also encouraged. Ann is a news reporter, editor and college professor at LeMoyne who is from Oswego and whose book on this topic just came out in March of 2024. We are honored to have her lead the breakout session discussion and she will have copies of her book on hand for purchase.

Following the breakout session, members will be encouraged to walk over to the New York State Museum, where there is a small exhibit on Fort Ontario and the refugees who lived there. The rest of the museum is a great experience as well.

DO A SERVICE PROJECT AT CONFERENCE
We are excited to be partnering with The Mooncatcher Project, which provides menstruation kits for young women in parts of the world where puberty often means the end of their education. Click here to learn more about their mission and plan to help assemble kits while at our weekend together!
