The Bainbridge Fire Department (BFD) has received a grant from the Rotary Club of Bainbridge. Volunteer firefighter Tom Akshar accepted the $2,830 donation on behalf of the department. The grant funded the purchase of new, high-quality structural firefighter gloves for the department, made possible by a matching grant from the Central New York Rotary Foundation.

The CNY Rotary Global Grants Committee voted recently to support the Breath to Life project in Alanya, Antalya province, Turkey.
