Treasurer Team
We are so grateful to the wonderful treasurer team in place for the 2024-25 year who did a lot of the legwork to set up our accounts, Quickbooks and bookkeeping procedures. THANK YOU! We are also excited for our two new team members that will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role that remains open and must be filled for July 1, 2025 is the chairperson who oversees this team of three. If you have finance, bookkeeping, banking or accounting skills you are willing to offer to help your fellow members, reach out to us with the form on this page. We need someone who knows Quickbooks (or can learn quickly), who can lead a team virtually, and who will attend regular executive meetings to be part of the important leadership discussions that impact their work.
Insurance Support Chair
Due to some changes to RI rules, we lost our previous person for this role because he happens to be our Foundation Chair (thank you though Don!). So now we need someone new! This is a unique role that requires very little work, but is really important to supporting our clubs when they are navigating the use of our Rotary International insurance policy. It's mainly helping clubs download insurance certificates and answering questions about what our policy covers. Having experience in insurance is not required, but would be helpful. You will also need a little bit of tech skills to use the online portal for generating certificates. Reach out to us with the form on this page if this sounds like the low-commitment job that fits right into your area of expertise that you've been looking for!
Service Committee
This brand new committee that will be focused on promoting and supporting impactful service throughout the region still needs more active participants. Our new chair is helping pave the way to some great resources for clubs and our first ever Day of Service this May 2025.
Events Committee
This is also a new committee that is always welcoming new members. You can be coordinator of a single social event, on the Conference 2025 planning team, or even the chair of it all. Our current chair is temporary and we would like a permanent chair.

Membership
We are always looking for people interested in working with small clubs who are looking to innovate and try new things to grow membership, as well as additional team members for several sub-committees.
Reach out to us or contact chair Kimmy Talbot directly to step up!
Public Image
The team managing the very website you are on is in need of more talented members to help with the website, social media and our outbound communications. This must be a cohesive team with a variety of skillsets, so consider lending your PR talents! Use the contact form on this page or contact chair Melissa Rathbun.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Our DEI team is always growing, but welcomes more interested in helping with their mission to educate clubs on the basics of DEI, ensure all of our CNY Rotary events are accessible, support communications and learning opportunities for DEI. Any experts on DEI-related subjects are especially welcome, even just in advisory roles. Use the form on this page to let us how you could contribute to the team or reach out to our DEI Chair Pam Baxter.
Youth Programs
We need people experienced in or interested in learning to lead for Interact and our Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).
The Interact Chair would help us keep track of all sponsored clubs in the region and be a support person for clubs looking to start a new Interact Club in their school or community.
The new CNY Rotary RYLA program is about to launch and will need volunteers for their late-June event.
Rotaract
With Rotaractors now official members of Rotary, there is a lot of opportunity to attract new, younger members to volunteering with our organization. We just need someone to coordinate the effort, keep in touch with the evolving leadership of the college-based clubs, and work on identifying opportunities to establish new, community-based clubs. This should be a team effort and it starts with identifying a chair person, who will also be part of our greater Leadership Council, which means appointment requires approval of the Executive Board.
