The Utica Rotary Club is extending a heartfelt invitation to Rotary clubs throughout the region to come together in support of a cleaner, greener Mohawk Valley.

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, Utica Rotary is organizing an upcoming highway clean-up event and calling on fellow Rotarians to join the effort.

In alignment with Rotary International’s mission to strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment, the clean-up will be a hands-on way to make a visible impact locally.

The date for the Utica Rotary clean-up will be announced soon. Those interested in participating can sign up by contacting Tina Pavlot at cpavlot@mtb.com or (315) 717-6652.

For those who can’t make it to this specific event, there’s still an opportunity to make a difference. You’re encouraged to organize your own clean-up event with the support of Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful (KMVB) — a program that offers free supplies like garbage bags and gloves. After your event, be sure to submit your results and a group photo to the Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful Team Results page.
