Looking for an easy Rotarian service project? Purchase a coat for $45 at Ocean State Job Lots (OSJL) and donate it to their Coats for Veterans Program.
You just have to tell the cashier you want to donate it. OSJL will give you a $45 gift card which you can use to purchase what you need from OSJL. OR, you can purchase another coat for the program, you will just have to pay the tax on the second coat. It amounts to about $2. So, for about $47, you can make sure that two veterans receive a warm coat this year. The coats are high quality and very warm.
