Rotarians have long been at the forefront of service, leadership, and community engagement.

Now, we have an opportunity to make a powerful impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by joining the Volunteer Service Opportunties and/or the Walk to End Alzheimer’s as a National Team.

By stepping up to this cause, your Rotary club can:

• Encourage team-building among members.
• Increase internal pride and engagement by uniting for a meaningful cause.
• Position your club as a philanthropic leader in the community.
• Gain greater visibility and strengthen Rotary’s public image.
• Help improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s, both today and in the future.

The Rotary Action Group (RAG) for Alzheimer’s and Dementia is proud to support the Alzheimer's Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world's largest fundraising event for Alzheimer's and related dementias. As Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors, we bring leadership experience in Alzheimer’s education, patient care, prevention management, and research for a cure. Together, we are using our passion and energy to drive change and provide hope to millions of families.

Rotary Clubs Already Making an Impact
Rotary clubs across Central New York have already joined this movement. Rotary clubs in Utica, Auburn, and Owego have taken action, walking in solidarity and raising funds to support research, advocacy, and essential programs that assist individuals living with Alzheimer's, their families, and caregivers. Their efforts demonstrate the power of Rotary to bring communities together in service and support.

By forming a Walk to End Alzheimer’s team, your club will join more than 600 communities across the country in taking a stand against this devastating disease. Whether you walk, fundraise, or volunteer, every effort contributes to the fight for a future without Alzheimer’s.
