The Nimmonsburg-Hillcrest Rotary will host the 1st Annual Non-Perishable Food Drive and Fundraiser on Saturday November 15, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nimmonsburg-Hillcrest Rotary determined local hunger outreach would be our primary focus for the 2025-26 Rotary year.
With rising costs of food and season change, comes less availability of locally grown and affordable foods affecting many in our area. Club members will accept both food items and monetary donations. All proceeds will go directly to CHOW, serving Broome County families, businesses and organizations.
We are fortunate to have the support of both the Chenango Valley CSD and the organizers of the Chenango Valley Craft Fair, providing the Food Drive and its contributors with visibility and easy access. Rotarians will be on hand to accept your curbside donations and provide a receipt if requested.
“N-H Rotary provides holiday food donations, gifts and monetary donations to both Chenango Valley Warrior Fund and Chenango Forks Nurses Fund annually, financial
support, hands on help for local pantries, meal providers. The Club plans to submit a Rotary District Grant Application for hunger/nutrition initiatives in 2026.”
