It is with deep sorrow that Albany Rotary shares the news of the passing of PDG Bill Nathan.
Bill served the former District 7190, now CNY Rotary, as District Governor 2011-12. Bill joined Albany Rotary in 1973, was a Paul Harris fellow and Bequest Society member and someone who loved Rotary to his very core.
Bill and his wife Betty were well known throughout the District as they loved to visit their Rotary family by attending meetings whenever and wherever they could. Bill and his wife Betty were true soul mates. As is so often the case with couples like Bill and Betty, they sustain one another. Betty recently passed in October, their spirits are now reconnected in perpetuity.
A funeral service will be Friday, December 20, 12 pm at Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Road, in Albany with burial to follow at the cemetery at Beth Emeth Cemetery, in Loudonville. Shiva will be at his home in Slingerlands following the burial until 6pm and Sunday 12-4pm.
