The Ithaca Rotary Club is pleased to announce its 2024 Community Grants awardees. Twenty-four applications were received, and nine grant proposals were funded in full for a total of $11,724.
 
Ithaca Rotary’s community grants are intended to support the good work of local non-profits that have special projects or needs which are not covered by general operating funds. Grant requests are usually funded in full up to $1,500 each, and are gifted through the Ithaca Rotary Club’s donor-advised fund managed by the Community Foundation of Tompkins County.

Distribute NAMI mental health resources to the public

Keep youth participation and show attendance free for all

Conversion kits to adapt wheelchairs/walkers for outdoor use
 
Donations to Rotary’s Community Grants program are gratefully accepted at any time. Checks may be made payable to Ithaca Rotary Club and mailed to P.O. Box 306, Ithaca, NY 14851. Please note “Community grants” on the memo line.
 
Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self.” Membership is open to all community members who share in this belief; new members are accepted year-round. Ithaca Rotary gathers every other Wednesday at Noon for luncheon meetings at Coltivare, 235 South Cayuga Street, downtown Ithaca.
