Each year, MD PELS brings together incoming Club Presidents from Rotary Districts 7120 and CNY Rotary to prepare them for the year ahead. The program combines practical training, creative ideas, Rotary resources, networking and opportunities to learn from experienced Rotary leaders.
As the program continues to evolve, the MD PELS committee is expanding its leadership team with three new coordinator positions.
Curriculum Coordinator
The Curriculum Coordinator will help ensure that MD PELS delivers a well-rounded learning experience. This role will oversee curriculum content, balancing the essential “nuts and bolts” of running a Rotary club with creative solutions, best practices and priorities from Rotary International. The goal is to give incoming presidents practical tools they can put to work immediately, while also inspiring them to think differently about leadership, membership, service and the future of their clubs.
Logistics Coordinator
Great learning experiences require a lot of behind-the-scenes planning. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee facilities planning, event workflow and the many details that keep MD PELS running smoothly. Working closely with the entire committee, this person will help ensure that presenters, participants, volunteers and vendors have what they need.
Future Leaders Coordinator
A brand-new Future Leaders program will expand the reach of MD PELS beyond incoming presidents to support leadership development throughout our clubs. The Future Leaders Coordinator will oversee the planning, content, promotion and execution of this new program, helping identify and inspire Rotarians who are ready to grow into future leadership roles.
Each of these roles is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the future of Rotary. By helping create and deliver these learning experiences, you'll be supporting approximately 160 incoming Club Presidents, strengthening their clubs and helping Rotary grow across two districts.
The application process is simple: self-nomination is encouraged, and all active members of District 7120 and CNY Rotary are invited to consider joining the team.
