The Glens Falls Rotary Club will host the annual Harrison Freer Community Run on April 18, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the SUNY Adirondack campus in Queensbury, bringing together runners, families, and community members for a day of fitness and philanthropy.

This year’s event will raise funds to support food security initiatives in the region, benefiting three organizations that work tirelessly to help neighbors in need: The Open Door Mission, Comfort Food Community, and Haynes House of Hope. In addition to the race, organizers will host a food drive on race day, encouraging participants and spectators to donate nonperishable items that will be distributed through these partner organizations.

Advanced registration is open now through April 16 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT). Participants who register by March 26 will receive an official race T-shirt.
Registration fees are $30 for adults ($35 on race day), $20 for children 12 and under ($25 on race day), and $20 for the Virtual 5K option.

Community members are invited to run, walk, donate, or support the cause in other ways. Local businesses also have opportunities to sponsor the event or promote their organizations through race publications and on the official race-day T-shirt.
