Rotarians from across Central New York rode the Erie Canal in Camillus on October 3rd. The occasion was the gathering of Rotary Book Club members, along with their family and friends, who read Wedding of the Waters by Peter Bernstein and Dreams of Freedom by Marilyn Higgins.

In addition to sharing excerpts from her book Ms. Higgins told of a visit to a Biergarten in Bavaria where locals, upon prompting, burst into singing “I had a mule and her name was Sal.”
