The grants are designed to help clubs invest in long-lasting promotional materials that showcase Rotary's mission, strengthen brand recognition, and create greater awareness of their work throughout their communities.
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis through May 1, 2027, or until available funding is exhausted.
Eligible purchases include branded tablecloths, club banners, pull-up banners, feather flags, pop-up tents, tote bags, stickers, and road signs. Funding may also support website development, social media initiatives, and other marketing tools that enhance a club's public image.
Additional examples include promotional palm cards, branded presentation checks, plaques recognizing community projects, and certain Rotary apparel worn by members.
The emphasis is on evergreen materials that clubs can reuse year after year. Items tied to specific events, dates, annual Rotary themes, or third-party sponsorships are not eligible.
Club Eligibility and Application Process
To qualify, clubs must meet several administrative requirements:
Have a Public Image Chair listed under Club Executives in ClubRunner for the current Rotary year.
Enter at least six priority goals, identified by stars, in MyRotary's Rotary Club Central.
Follow the required application, approval, purchasing, and reimbursement procedures.
Clubs must submit their proposed projects and receive approval before making any purchases. Designs must also be reviewed to ensure compliance with Rotary branding guidelines.
Once approved, clubs can purchase their materials and submit the CNY Rotary Payment Request Form, along with required documentation, to receive matching reimbursement.
Applications may include multiple items, but the maximum matching award remains $300 per club.
Additional Resources and Assistance
CNY Rotary will offer additional opportunities for clubs to learn about public image initiatives, including virtual Public Image Town Halls planned for late fall and winter.
