Did you know there are Rotary podcasts? Talking Rotary in Zones 28 & 32 is hosted by Winnipeg Rotarian Peter Tonge and he recently interviewed our very own Past CNY Rotary President Lizzy Martin to hear more about our transition to becoming CNY.

With three districts becoming one, the proactive and innovative leaders that led us through that process took the opportunity to implement changes meant to strengthen our clubs, our brand, and our future. Sometimes this means how we do things and the language we use is different from everyone else (or from how things used to be).

Why don't we use a district number?

Why do we say District President?

Who was part of building these committees and processes?

If you have wondered about how decisions were made and the work got done, this will be well worth your time.

In this 40-minute podcast, you will get an overview of the process we went through over the course of almost three years to build our teams, try new things, and learn from it all. We continue to complete this work today with ongoing modifications to our org chart, Leadership Guide (policies and procedures), and team-building efforts. It's not easy being the first, but we won't be alone for long as other districts regionalize just like us.
