CNY Rotary's ESRAG Task Force recently featured a presentation by Chuck Woolery, with a preview of Project 250: a bold initiative commemorating the U.S. Declaration of Independence by promoting action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in every community on Earth.
Project 250 is not an organization; it is simply an ideal that is 250 years overdue.
7 Core Goals for Project 250:
- Remedy Truth Decay using “self-evident truths”
- Inform Communities about our shared responsibility to care for nature & each other
- Unite People and Organizations around the SDGs
- Build Sufficient Political Will globally to fund solutions
- Achieve Progress on all 17 SDGs
- Establish July 4th as an annual day of global service — inspiring service above self
- Counter Prejudice in all its forms
