The Bainbridge Rotary Club is set to host its Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Afton Golf Course.
The tournament is a Captain and Crew format with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Participants can look forward to exciting prizes for the top three teams, as well as awards for the longest drive and closest to the pin. The event kicks off with a continental breakfast at check-in and concludes with an all-you-can-eat buffet.
The proceeds from this tournament will benefit the local Youth Exchange and associated programs. Since 1959, the Bainbridge Rotary Club has been a proud participant in the Youth Exchange Program, welcoming 144 students into the community and sending 104 Bainbridge students to over fifty countries worldwide. The club believes the Youth Exchange program greatly enriches the community by providing unique opportunities to gain experience about different cultures and languages. Opportunities which are especially valuable in a small rural area like ours.
