Rotary Club of Ithaca member Gertrude Noden brings over two decades as classroom teacher  and outreach program developer, wherein she nurtures primarily through college level students and educators to become world citizens through her innovative Human Rights Curriculum.  

Gertrude’s vision has brought thousands of students’ interdisciplinary plans of action to fruition  through local and global humanitarian projects, which have been recognized by national and  international organizations and institutes of higher learning.
 
As the founder of Words Into Deeds,  Inc. 501c3 www.wordsintodeeds.org she prepares students to participate in action oriented  leadership and global citizenship programs working towards achievement of the 7 Rotary  International Goals for peace and security. 
 
Gertrude will be joining Auburn Rotary for a talk on Tuesday, September 10 at noon at the Auburn Public Theater, further discussing the work the organization has done in Uganda and South Sudan.
